Reunions

We especially invite members of the classes of 1956, 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, and 2016 to return for a reunion year.

Highlights of the Weekend

Friday Evening

  • Gathering at Twisted Tree Music Hall (fee required, open to all)
    • Located at 1061 E Morton Avenue, Jacksonville, IL
  • Informal Gathering at Bahans

Saturday

  • Registration, T-Shirts, and Reminiscing Together
    • Location: the Midwest Athletic Center, former Education Complex.
  • MacMurray Gallery at the Jacksonville Area Museum.
    • Open from 10am-4pm.
  • Football Alumni Flag Football Game
    • Location: former Freesen Field on campus.
  • MacMurray Foundation Awards
  • Alumni Dinner & Awards (fee required)

Sunday

  • All are invited to attend the service at The Chapel, a new fellowship that provides worship services in the former Annie Merner Chapel.

Alumni Awards

The Alumni Awards are a continuation of recognition and awards previously conducted by MacMurray Alumni Board while the college was active. MacMurray Foundation is proud to continue these special recognitions and honors.

Do you know an alum who deserves recognition? Please nominate him/her for an Alumni Award.

Distinguished Alumni Award

  • Any alumnus or alumnae (who attended MacMurray for at least two semesters or is a graduate) who has distinguished himself/herself within his/her chosen field and through service to MacMurray or their community.
  • A graduate or student of at least three years who has exhibited excellence and outstanding work in his/her chosen career or occupation.

Notable Career Award

  • A graduate or student of at least two semesters who has exhibited excellence and outstanding work in his/her chosen career or occupation.

Community Service Award

  • A graduate or student of at least three years who has distinguished himself/herself through outstanding volunteer service to his/her community.

Museum Exhibit

The history of MacMurray College has ongoing exhibits at the Jacksonville Area Museum, highlighting the unique history of the college, documents and artifacts. Learn more about the museum, near the MacMurray campus, at www.jacksonvilleareamuseum.org
