As MacMurray Foundation & Alumni Association received no funds from MacMurray College, other than some raised by and for the Alumni Board (which will be disbanded as the College goes through the dissolution process), operating costs and funds to fulfill our mission are dependent on charitable donations. Other support has come through in-kind giving of individual time and expertise to help keep annual operating costs as low as possible.

Individual gifts can be made directly to the Foundation via the payment button below. This will take you to a secure payment portal.

or mailed to the Foundation at:

MacMurray Foundation & Alumni Association
PO Box 47

Special people, and MacMurray Foundation, can be honored by making a donation in someone’s name. The person being recognized, or their family member(s), will be informed of the donor’s gift (with no dollar amount indicated) in honor of this special person(s). As well as honoring someone who has passed away, many people recognize birthdays, anniversaries or other significant events.

Individuals wishing to take advantage of tax deductible donations through the transfer of stocks, bonds or other investments may do so. It is advised not to sell such items and donate cash, but work with the Foundation to transfer directly to the Foundation’s brokerage account. The donor will receive a notice of the market value of the donation at time of receipt. You may leave a message via e-mail at [email protected] to coordinate such a gift.

Individuals may designate MacMurray Foundation & Alumni Association in their estate planning by including the Foundation in their will, trust and estate plans. A legacy gift of this kind can be designated/restricted for specific purpose(s) related to our mission such as scholarships, grants, museum display or general operating. Individuals may designate a percentage or specific dollar amount and should work with their own advisor in making this decision.

We would be glad to speak with anyone who might have this interest. You may leave a message via e-mail at [email protected].

Contributing to the Foundation’s Scholarship Program

  2. Named General Scholarships. To establish such a scholarship, contact the Foundation Scholarship Committee Chair at [email protected] to negotiate the amount and terms of the designated scholarship.
  4. Endowed Scholarships. Donors can establish an endowed scholarship, with either the Foundation’s general scholarship criteria or with criteria as established by the donor and agreed to by the Foundation in addition to the general scholarship criteria, by making a minimum contribution of $25,000 to the Foundation. Some corporations have employee matching gift programs by which the corporation will match the charitable gift of an employee or family member. Additionally, some community organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions and other groups can also designate a donation for a specific purpose or for annual operating.

If interested in becoming a Board or Committee member such openings periodically come up. As the Alumni Activities get scheduled there will also be a need to assist for Alumni gatherings, as well as hosting local gatherings in your own area. If interested, e-mail us at [email protected].
